Natural Family Planning
Why Natural Family Planning (NFP)
Natural Family Planning (NFP) is a method of birth control that does not involve drugs, devices, or surgical procedures. Instead, it relies on tracking a woman's natural fertility signals to determine the days when she is most likely to become pregnant. Couples can use this information to either achieve or avoid pregnancy.

Effectiveness of NFP range of 76% to 99% depending on how correctly it is used. NFP can be highly effective, reaching up to 99% with perfect use and consistent practice, however it requires significant commitment and understanding.

How NFP works
-
Couples monitor various fertility signs, including cervical mucus and basal body temperature.
-
They avoid unprotected sexual intercourse during the fertile window to prevent pregnancy.
-
Using a fertility chart or app helps record information and predict fertile periods.

There are different NFP methods, the one I am teaching is called Symptothermal Method.
